Performance Times
Shows performance times may vary but generally are:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 PM
- Thursday & Friday: 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM & 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 1:30 PM & 7:00 PM
Oklahoma! runs 2 hours, 50 minutes including a 20 minute intermission.
Theatre Doors Open
Lobby doors open 45 minutes before the show and seating begins 30 minutes before the curtain. Performances begin promptly. Patrons who arrive late will be seated at the first suitable pause in the performance in the least disruptive location.
Theater Location
The 5th Avenue Theatre is on 5th Avenue just north of the intersection of 5th Avenue and University Street in downtown Seattle. The Theatre address is 1308 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101.

Ticket Fees
Service fees apply to both web and phone orders. No service fees are charged on tickets purchased in person at the Box Office.
Box Office Hours
- Monday through Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Saturday: 12 Noon – 6 PM
- Sunday: 12 Noon – 6 PM
- On performance days, the Box Office also opens 90 minutes prior to curtain for Will Call & sales to that day's event.
- The Box Office is closed for all major holidays.
- The Box Office is also closed from 3:30 to 5:30 PM on the first Wednesday of every month.
Box Office Location
The Box Office is situated directly under the Theatre marquee at 1308 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle (just north of the intersection of 5th Avenue and University Street).
Bringing Children
Children under four years of age, including babes in arms, will not be admitted. 5th Avenue productions are generally suitable for ages 8 and above. Seat cushions for little ones are available at no charge at our Coat Check.
Some shows deal with mature themes and may not be appropriate for all children. For information about whether a particular show is suitable for your child, we strongly encourage you to check the Parental Guidelines tab for each production.
What to Wear
Attire generally varies from business casual to cocktail dresses and suits. For many patrons, attending a show at The 5th is a special occasion. Above all, we want you to feel comfortable.

Lobby Amenities, Food & Drink
Refreshments are available for purchase both pre-show and during intermission. Drinks may be pre-ordered for intermission. Bottled soft drinks and water may be taken into the theater; other beverages and food items are not permitted inside the auditorium. Show-specific merchandise is available at the lobby merchandise booth.
Seat Cushions & Special Needs
Our complimentary Coat Check has seat cushions for smaller and shorter patrons, as well as Braille show programs and assisted listening devices. Binoculars may be rented for $5.00.
Cameras, Cell Phones & Electronic Devices
The use of cameras and audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited. You may leave these items at our Coat Check. Please turn off all cell phones, pagers and watch alarms before the performance begins. Texting during performances is also strictly prohibited.
Weather Cancellations
All performances will take place as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions.
Ticket Exchanges & Donations
You may exchange your tickets, if you do so 24 hours or more prior to your scheduled performance date. Subscribers may exchange tickets for free. Single-ticket buyers are charged an exchange fee. Click on the Exchange Tickets box to the right for complete instructions. You must log In to your account online to start the excahnge. Please note: Tickets are non-refundable.
You may also donate your tickets back to the non-profit 5th Avenue Theatre and receive a donation receipt for your income taxes. Please call 206.625.1900 prior to your performance to arrange a ticket donation.
Lost Tickets
If you lose or forget your tickets, please call 206.625.1900 or email ticketing@5thavenue.org prior to the performance. We can reprint your tickets and have them available for pick-up at the Box Office Will Call window on the day of the show.

Free Tours
Enjoy a free, guided tour and learn more about the building's ornate architecture and intriguing history.
Tours last approximately 20 minutes with time for questions. If your group is interested in any specific topics, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Free tours take place each Monday at 12 noon. Please meet under the theater marquee (located at 5th Avenue and University Street).
Please note: Because we are a working theater, tour availability is always subject to change.
Tours for Groups of 10 or More
Tours for groups of 10 or more are arranged by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance. Please call our Administrative Office at 206.625.1418 to schedule a tour.

Gift Certificate Redemption
Gift certificates may be redeemed online, by phone, or in person at the Box Office. Any remaining balance on the gift certificate will carry over and can be used for a future purchase.
